Incorporated in 2007 A.D, as a private limited company by a highly esteemed team of professionals, Union Hydro Holding Limited formerly known as (Union Hydropower Limited)  went on being public limited company on March 13, 2016 with the aim to foster potential hydropower sector of Nepal. The authorized capital of our company is Nrs.5000 million, issued capital is Nrs. 3000 million & paid up capital is Nrs 750 million. We have successfully developed our first project Midim Khola (Karapu) Hydropower Project (3MW) in Lamjung district. The project has been generating electricity since January 29, 2018 and has been generating electricity satisfactorily since the commencement of its operation. The overall performance of the project reflects the satisfactory quality of the construction works, installation and commissioning of the major project components. The civil structures, including the water conveyance system, powerhouse and other associated structures remain in good condition with no significant deterioration affecting their intended functions. Similarly, the electromechanical equipment including the generating units and associated electrical systems has been operating satisfactorily. The hydromechanical structures and equipment are also in good working condition and performing their intended functions effectively. The satisfactory condition and performance of these components indicate that the construction, installation and workmanship have generally met the operational requirements of the project. Furthermore, the continued operation of the project over the years demonstrates the overall adequacy of the infrastructure and equipment for sustained power generation. Based on the observed operational performance and the present condition of the major project components, the overall quality of the project works is considered satisfactory with the infrastructure and equipment remaining suitable for continued operation.
